ARTS Shines Bright!

What an unforgettable evening for the Anglia Region Theatre School! We are bursting with pride after our young performers lit up the Norwich Christmas Light Switch-On last night, right in front of City Hall in the heart of central Norwich.

Invited to perform as this year’s winners of the Norwich Lord Mayor’s Procession, our talented students took to the beautifully lit stage—complete with stunning lighting and a superb PA system—to deliver four specially choreographed (by the amazing Lisa) dance pieces to a truly enormous and enthusiastic crowd.

Despite the cold, wet weather, every single child demonstrated remarkable professionalism, energy, and passion. Their smiles never faded, their timing was impeccable, and their dedication shone brighter than the Christmas lights themselves. This was a proud moment not just for ARTS, but for the entire community that supports our work every day.

We would also like to extend a huge thank-you to the wonderful parents who braved the weather to cheer on their children. Your support helps make these magical opportunities possible.

The event itself was filled with festive charm. Alongside our students, the stage was shared by an exciting lineup of guests, including the Lord Mayor of Norwich, several local faith leaders, Father Christmas, and even the Grinch, who kept the crowd laughing throughout the evening.
