Street

Street dancing is a very popular form of dance and can trace its roots back to the late 1960’s. It became popular when Michael Jackson began locking and popping and has gone from strength to strength incorporating styles and choreography from modern trends in dance music. Today, it is an energetic and fast paced class, and incorporates moves from the 'street' with elements of hip-hop, funk and R 'n’ B.

This is a fun class designed to teach the types of 'music video' moves made famous by stars such as Diversity and Beyoncé. The N.A.T.D. offer exams from rainbow awards to national awards for all ages.
