ARTS Students Shine on the Euro Disney Stage!​
This past August 2024, the talented young performers from The Anglia Region Theatre School (ARTS) embarked on an extraordinary adventure that many will remember for a lifetime. Thirty-seven budding dancers and singers traveled to Euro Disney, accompanied by their families and friends, for what turned out to be a magical blend of performance, excitement, and unforgettable memories.
The highlight of the trip? The incredible opportunity for our students to perform on one of Disney's world-class stages, captivating an audience of over 2,000 spectators. The energy was electric as our performers took to the stage, showcasing their hard work, passion, and talent in a venue where dreams truly come to life. It was a moment of immense pride, not just for the students, but for everyone involved with ARTS.
A special mention must go to Phoebe T and Lisa, whose brilliant choreography brought the performances to life in the most spectacular way. Their creativity and vision were on full display, ensuring that each dance was not only technically excellent but also deeply engaging and full of emotion. The choreography was a true testament to their skill, and the result was nothing short of mesmerizing.
Among the many standout moments was Millie's breathtaking solo performance, which left the audience spellbound. Her voice soared through the theater, a true testament to the dedication and spirit of our ARTS community. But it wasn’t just Millie who shone—each and every performer brought something special to the stage, creating a show that was both inspiring and unforgettable.
Yet, the magic didn’t end there. When the curtain fell, the adventure continued in the heart of Disneyland Park. Our students, along with their loved ones, explored the park’s many wonders together. From heart-racing rides to enchanting attractions, every corner of Disneyland was filled with laughter and joy. One of the most memorable moments was when our entire group practically took over Annette's Diner on show day, transforming the iconic spot into a lively hub of celebration. The sight of so many happy faces gathered in one place, sharing stories and savoring the moment, was truly heartwarming.
This trip was more than just a performance opportunity—it was a celebration of friendship, creativity, and the shared joy of doing what we love in one of the most magical places on Earth. For the ARTS performers, their time at Euro Disney was a chance to grow, to shine, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this incredible experience possible, from the dedicated teachers and staff at ARTS to the supportive families and friends who traveled with us.
