Kelly Evans A.N.A.T.D.
Kelly started dancing with the Janet Wright Dancers at the age of 4, not knowing that dance would play such a big part in her life. She then rejoined A.R.T.S in 1997 at the age of 9.
Since attending ARTS Kelly has been involved in numerous productions including many of the annual school shows, onward players pantomime, performances at several West End theatres, The Royal Albert Hall, Disneyland Resort Paris and will soon be performing at Barcelona with her fellow students. Kelly has also represented the school at the NATD scholarships in Cheshire, having gained a distinction in her graded exams.
From an early age Kelly has always enjoyed helping out where ever possible and at ARTS she has spend most of her teenage years teaching the younger students in their classes. After becoming a student teacher Kelly went on to complete her associate teacher’s exams in both freestyle and modern.
In the past, Kelly has enjoyed teaching a variety of subjects, but she now focuses on the Juvenile department where she feels happiest as they co-insides with her job as a nursery teacher. She always takes great pride in being able to see the youngest children at ARTS move onwards and upwards through the school.
Alongside her dancing studies and full time job, Kelly has also continued with her academic studies and is currently studying for an early year’s degree to become a primary school teacher.
