Katy Stangroom L.N.A.T.D BSc (hons)
Katy began her dance training at the age of 4 at the then-named Janet Wright School of Dancing and has maintained strong links with A.R.T.S since the Anglia Region Theatre School was founded.

After completing a BSc (hons) degree at the University of Lincoln she embarked on her professional dance career on-board the M/V Mistral, Festival Cruises and since then has worked in Greece, Disneyland Resort Paris, Club Perla in Slovenia and 3 further cruise ships, including sister ships M/V Astor and Astoria which have allowed her to travel the world.

Katy performed on the Lady Legends UK Tour in aid of the NSPCA in 2009 and can currently be seen as a dancer and singer in The Tigerlilys Westend to Broadway show playing at various theatres throughout Norfolk.

She currently works as a freelance teacher and choreographer in Norfolk, including creating couples’ ‘first dances’ for their wedding, but is most happy when teaching, choreographing and performing for A.R.T.S.

Katy is thrilled to be part of the A.R.T.S family and currently works as a cover teacher in all subjects, as well as choreographing for special events and performances.
